DURATION & COST
→ Each session is between 30 – 45 minutes long. Treatment is entirely non-invasive and may be undertaken up to several times daily if required or 1-2 per week as you are able.
→ For ongoing medical conditions such as cardiovascular, diabetic and injuries such as sprains, torn tendons or fractures, multiple sessions over a significant time period will be required. The exact number will depend on your condition and the manner in which your condition responds to the treatment. Naturally your ability to attend treatment sessions on a regular basis, will also be important.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Vacumed should NOT be used when there is:
→ Phlebothrombosis or blood clots (<8 weeks) or thrombophlebitis (an inflammation of the blood vessels which may lead to blood clots forming e.g. DVT)
→ Fresh surgical wounds (<1 week)
→ Infected wounds in the treatment area (chronic wounds are excepted)
→ Distinct inguinal or incisional (abdominal)Hernia
→ Pregnancy
